Zenobē was recently awarded the title of Developer of the Year at the inaugural Energy Storage Awards. With 430MW of battery storage in operation or under construction and another 1.2GW of projects in advanced development in the UK and with more projects to come, Zenobē was recognised by industry peers as a leader in grid-scale BESS development and delivery.
Zenobē also picked up highly commended award in the Grid-scale Standalone Energy Storage Project of the Year for its 100 MW Capenhurst battery, the first battery to have a commercial contract to absorb reactive power direct from a transmission network in the UK. The company was also recognised in the Breakthrough R&D/Innovation of the Year category for its pioneering 300MW battery project in Blackhillock that will be the first in the world to deliver Stability Services using a transmission-connected battery.
