Zenobe’s Steven Meersman on transitioning to net-zero despite Covid-19

Zenobe Energy’s Steven Meersman writes in an op-ed for LocalGov that transitioning to net-zero must continue to be a priority despite Covid-19.

LocalGov is the UK’s largest dedicated local government news website.

In his op-ed, Meersman says, “Although Covid-19 has had a devastating effect on people across the world, it has clearly shown that communities are capable of adapting quickly to imminent dangers. Why can’t our response to the climate crisis be any different? It’s vital that both national and local government continue their hard work towards achieving net-zero with sustainability at the heart of all they do for our future.”

Meersman is one of three Founder Directors at Zenobe Energy. He has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a BSc and an MSc in Electromechanical Engineering from De Nayer Instituut in Belgium.
